All permits must be parked in their designated zone between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM. After 5:00 PM, permits may park in any zone but must be back in their applicable zone by 7:00 AM.
All zones are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
If a zone does not fill at one classification level, remaining spaces will be made available to the next group.
Individual Parking Zones.
Permits are valid in their individually designated parking zones. (Ex. B1 permit is valid in B1 zone.)
Open Active Parking Zones
M-zones allow active permits from any parking zone to park. M-zone permits are not allowed to park in any other parking zone on campus, except for other M-zone parking lots. Please review the new zone map carefully.
G6 parking zone allows active permits from any parking zones to park.
Sanderson: Faculty/Staff Parking
G5 parking zone is open to any Faculty/Staff member with an active permit.
Multi-Zone parking
Any Faculty/Staff wising to purchase the multi-zone permit option must select a permit from the parking zone options, located on the parking portal website myparking.msstate.edu. Once you have selected your permit, continue following the permit purchasing process until you reach the View Cart page. On this page, select the "Add Permit" option. You will then add the Multi-Zone permit option to your basket and continue following the purchasing process.
The multi-zone permit is valid to park in any non-gated parking lot. The multi-zone permit is not valid in gated, metered, timed, service, or reserved spaces.
Multi-zone permits are available on a limited basis
Zone availability is limited.
Each zone has a set number of permits available. If your preferred zone is sold out, you may add yourself to its waitlist and purchase a permit in another zone as a backup. You may join multiple waitlists.
Ongoing monitoring and adjustments.
We will continue to monitor each zone and contact individuals when opportunities arise to relocate to their preferred zone.
Parking Garage North permits are valid 24/7, including gamedays.
