Parking Guidelines
- Debit and credit cards are now the only option at public parking lots. Cashless transactions at all public pay lots.
- No tents, tables or chairs are permitted in parking spaces or on sidewalks.
- Parking on grass is permitted only in designated areas. (Available to general public - see parking map above)
- No parking is allowed on parking lot islands, medians, berms, or the shoulders of streets and roads.
- Parked vehicles must not obstruct traffic or pedestrian access to sidewalks.
- Parking spaces cannot be saved.
- Tailgating is permitted only in areas where traffic or parking is not obstructed, and tailgaters must follow all picnic zone regulations.
- Parking areas must be cleared by 7 a.m. the day following the game.
- All buses must enter campus at the intersection of Lee Blvd. and Hwy. 182, turn east onto Lee Blvd. and continue down Lee Blvd. to bus parking. Bus parking is available in front of Hilbun and Harned Halls (see map). Buses must exit campus via East Lee Blvd. After unloading, the bus will turn around to park facing East Lee Blvd.
Reminder: Center campus roads close 4 hours before kickoff. (See map for road closures)
Public and Reserved Parking
- Please see campus map for parking. Bulldog Club Reserved lots are shown by a number or single letter, ex. (24) or (A). Pay lots are designated on the legend. (Please see campus parking map.)
- Public parking is available for advance purchase starting at 8 a.m. CT on Friday at hailstate.com/tickets. (Grass parking lot sales are contingent on weather).
- Reserved Parking lots are available to park in, beginning at 8 am, on gameday.
- Public Pay lots only accept Credit and Debit Cards only. NO Cash transactions.
- Interior Public parking lots cost $30 per vehicle/trailer.
- Research Park, located to the North, and Vet School, located to the South, parking lots cost $10 per vehicle/trailer.
- Transit Services begin 4 hrs. prior to kickoff and continue until 2 hrs. after the game. They will service Research Park and Vet School. Research Park Transit will drop off at Old Main Academic. Vet School Transit will drop off at Newell Grissom.
ADA Parking: Public and Reserved
- Please see the campus map for ADA parking. On the map legend, ADA parking is blue. ADA Bulldog Club Reserved season pass parking is marked as Lots A, B, C, D, E and F.
- ADA public parking is now located in two parking lots. North ADA parking is located at 100 Research Blvd. in the Thad Cochran Research Park, off of Hwy 1-82. South ADA parking is located at the Animal and Dairy Science Building, off Hailstate Blvd. $10 per vehicle. Credit or Debit Cards only.
- ADA Transit Services, begin 4 hrs. prior to kickoff, and service North ADA Parking Lot passengers to and from the Old Main Academic Building bus terminal, and service South ADA Parking Lot passengers to and from Newell-Grissom Building terminal. All Transit Buses operate for 2 hrs. after the end of the game.
- Disability Carts will be available, to provide access from ADA Transit Terminals at Old Main and Newell Grissom to designated DWS locations.
- Old Main Disability Carts will drop off at Gate L, the SE corner.
- Newell Grissom Disability Carts will drop off at Gate A, the SW corner and McArthur Hall (NW Corner).
- ADA Lots B and C Disability Carts will drop off at Gate L, the SE corner.
Disability Carts
Disability carts begin operating 4 hours prior to kickoff and operate for 2 hours after the end of the game. Disability carts will have 3 pick up locations and 2 drop off points.
- Old Main Disability Carts will drop off at Gate L, the SE corner.
- Newell-Grissom Disability Carts will drop off at Gate A, the SW corner.
- ADA Lots B and C Disability Carts will drop off at Gate L, the SE corner.
Public RV Parking
- Public RV parking is located at the Mississippi Horse Park south of the MSU Campus.

- Transit Service provided, drops off at Newell-Grissom.
Reserved RV Parking
- RV reserved hook-up parking lots 34 and 38 will open at 10 a.m. on Friday for football weekends. No unauthorized vehicles will be allowed to enter these lots after 3 p.m. Thursday. Unauthorized vehicles remaining after 5 p.m. will be relocated.
- RV lot 29 at the Scales Building opens at 10 a.m. on Friday before game day.
Transit Services
Free transit service is provided by Starkville-MSU Area Rapid Transit (SMART) on Game Days from various on and off campus locations to Newell Grissom, and Old Main Academic Center. Below is a listing of routes and stop locations fans can use to access campus via SMART. For more information on schedules, routes and stops, please go to smart.msstate.edu
From ADA Public North and South Parking Lots:
- North Campus ADA transit service is provided from 100 Research Boulevard to Old Main Academic Center (4 hours prior to kick off until 2 hours after the end of the game)
- South Campus ADA transit service is provided from the Animal and Dairy Science parking lot on Wise Center Drive to Newell Grissom (4 hours prior to kick off until 2 hours after the end of the game)
From Research Park Public Parking Area (North Campus | Hwy 182):
- Transit service is provided from other parking lots in the Reasearch Park to Old Main Academic Center (4 hours prior to kick off until 2 hours after the end of the game)
From Wise Center and Rec Plex (South Campus | Blackjack Road and Hail State Boulevard):
- Transit service is provided from other Wise Center parking lots and the Scales Building to Newell Grissom (4 hours prior to kick off until 2 hours after the end of the game)
From Davis Wade Express (Lampkin and Jackson Street | Starkville Daily News):
- Transit service is provided from the Lampkin Street and Jackson Street intersection to Old Main Academic Center (4 hours prior to kick off until 2 hours after the end of the game)
SMART Routes:
- Routes provide continuous service Monday-Saturday, including Gameday from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. or until 2 hours after the end of the game (whichever is later).
- Starkville Central SMART Route: Walmart Supercenter, Kroger, Avenue of Patriots, Whitfield Street, Greensboro Street, Downtown, Midtown to Old Main Academic Center: Stop locations are at the Chevron on the Avenue of Patriots, the intersection of Whitfield and Scales Street, the Greensboro Center, City Hall, Regions Bank and the Old Main Academic Center.
- Starkville South SMART Route: Walmart Supercenter, Kroger, Medicaid, Sportsplex, Lynn Lane, Loxley Way, Wise Center, and Animal Dairy Science to Newell Grissom.
- Starkville North SMART Route: Walmart Supercenter, Abernathy, Mallory Ln, JL King Park, Reed Road, OCH, Reed Place, Garrard Road West and East, Walmart Neighborhood Market, Starkville Flatts to Old Main Academic.
- A bus tracking map is available at smart.transloc.com or by downloading the Transloc app on your phone and choosing Starkville-MSU Area Rapid Transit.
From Mississippi Horsepark:
- Transit Service is provided from the Mississippi Horse Park to Newell Grissom (4 hours prior to kick off until 2 hours after the end of the game)
RV reservations with the Mississippi Horse Park are required.
No coolers are allowed on any MSU Transit Buses.
